Topic: that rag hali newsletters 73 & 80

What is with these twits at that rag hali?

A "newsletter"?

Please you ridiculous touts, a "newsletter" is supposed to contain news. And hype and publicity for Freeman's Auction in Philly is surely not news, nor does it warrant sending a "newsletter" to your mailing list, which unfortunately RK is on.

But this is par for the course for that rag hali's "team", which sends out these unwanted missives that malign the word news.

Will those semi-rug-literate pen pushers ever realize they, and their stinking self-motivated, self-promoting bogus "news" et.al. are a major part of the problem that has caused the ever-decreasing interest in oriental carpet collecting?

Furthermore, let RK disabuse those salarymen at that rag hali of any ideas or notions their "newletters" and a majority of their magazine is anything but blatant advertisement for any and everyone foolish enough to believe paying for space in their rag will do anything other than allow someone to see their name in print.

Add that rag hali's "newsletter" 81 to the list.

The only thing that might vaguely pass for news is touting a article that appears in their last issue.

Time for the editorial twits to get out a dictionary and learn the difference between "news" and publicity/advert.

Well, today that rag hali's 'newsletter' 80 arrived in RK's email box and guess what it's all about?

Nothing newsworthy that's for sure. How could advertising alan marcuson's appearance in the 'tribal show' in San Francisco be considered news to anyone. It's advertising but in hali-speak news means advertisement, get it?

We all remember mr marcuson, the twice bankrupt and failed rug dealer, who at one time was that rag hali's editor. He got chucked out on his ear from there as well.

RK wonders how much marcuson paid for the newsletter push, or was it done by michael franses, that rag hali's new owner, to curry favor with him?

Life rarely duns the bad and guilty, or rewards the good and the honest.

And mr alan marcuson's rugDUMB career shows that well, as he has distinctly proven himself to be one of the most flaky, self-interested and selfish abusers in rugDUMB's history.

You might not remember "cloud band.com" marcuson's finale. But were you one of the unfortunate "investors" who lost 100 percent of their investment RK is sure you do.

So instead of sending out a 'newsletter' praising a scoundrel like alan marcuson RK thinks it time that rag hali finds some real news to email or cease and desist from the bogus practice of pretending advertisements are news.
